Belur-Math is like a pilgrimage for me: PM Modi.

PM Modi said that coming to the land of Belur Math is like a pilgrimage for me. He said that when he came here last time, he had taken the blessings of Swami Atmaasthanandji. Today they are not physically present among us. But his work, his path shown, will always pave our way in the form of Ramakrishna Mission.

Let us know that Prime Minister Modi reached Kolkata on Saturday. On the second day in the morning, the PM held a puja and meditated at Belur Math, the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission. He said, “I am thankful to the Government of West Bengal, who broke the protocol and allowed spending the night in Belur Math.” He said that my past is related to Belur Math.

Speaking on the citizenship law in Belur Math, PM Modi said, the Indian government has not made any law overnight. There was a lot of discussion about this in the country. According to this law, any person of any country who believes in India can be a citizen of India. PM Modi said that the Citizenship Act does not take away any citizenship but gives citizenship.

Some people are trying to create confusion in the minds of the Youth. PM Modi said we simplified the citizenship law. The Citizenship Act is not a law to take citizenship, a Law to give citizenship and Citizenship Amendment Act is only an amendment to that law.
